Educational Specification for Construction
Objective:
The district will ensure that all new and remodeled educational facilities meet both educational and legal standards. The Superintendent will be responsible for developing comprehensive educational specifications for facility construction, ensuring alignment with district goals and statutory requirements.

Delegation of Authority:
The Governing Board may delegate authority in writing to the Superintendent to submit plans for new school facilities to the School Facilities Board for certification, ensuring the plans meet the minimum facility adequacy guidelines as prescribed by A.R.S. 15-2011. -
Educational Specifications for New Construction:
The Superintendent will work with architects to develop detailed educational specifications for any new or remodeled facilities, including:- Information on the school’s organizational structure and projected student enrollment.
- A description of the curriculum and instructional methods to be used in the facility.
- A schedule of space requirements, including the relative location of various areas.
- Desired layouts for specialized spaces and the equipment necessary for those areas.
- Specifications for mechanical systems and special finishes.
- Standards set forth by the School Facilities Board.
