CLASS SIZE

 

The Governing Board is responsible for determining the teacher-to-student ratio for regular education within the District. Staffing structures and groupings of students will be flexible to address the diverse instructional methods, student needs, curriculum demands, and available financial resources. The Superintendent will provide staffing recommendations during the annual budget review and preparation process to ensure alignment with District goals.

Special Education: The District aims to maintain a student-teacher ratio for special education that enables teachers to effectively address the objectives outlined in each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). Additionally, special education staff will collaborate with general education teachers to support the prevention and intervention of potential learning challenges.
