BUS10.4 - Property Replacement and Restitution

Objective:
The district shall not assume responsibility for the loss or damage of personal property on school premises but may require restitution for damage caused by students or staff.

  1. Restitution for Damage:
    Individuals responsible for damaging school or personal property will be required to make restitution to cover the cost of repairs or replacement.

  2. District Liability:
    The district will not be held liable for personal property stored, installed, or used on school grounds unless otherwise specified by district policy.
